City Gears Up to Build 100-meter Sheet Pile at Muara Angke Port

Jakarta Transportation Dept. is going to build a 100-meter-long sheet pile in the near future as an initial step to revitalize Muara Angke Port, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
This proposal is made to soon discuss sheet pile development in 2017 City Budget Amendment (APBD-P)
According to Sigit Wijatmoko, Vice Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept. explains it is according to projection of special committee (Pansus) about Muara Angke Port arrangement, to handle flood problem in the region this year.
Regarding sheet pile development, he stated, Transportation Dept. has made a proposal to the City Administration Budgetary Team (TAPD) to discuss it as soon as possible.
Council Supports Project of Muara Angke Port Integrated Area"This proposal is made to soon discuss sheet pile development in 2017 City Budget Amendment (APBD-P)," he expressed, Monday (5/22).
Besides that, his dept. also plans to coordinate with Jakarta Development Planning Board (Bappeda) and Jakarta Water Resources Dept.
"Related to fund nominal is still counted," he closed.
